In Germany, it is sometimes also compulsory for foreigners, for example to apply for a visa or if you are a language student you need a proof of a blocking account for the visa application. This proves that you have sufficient financial means for your stay in Germany.


Care Concept Blocked AccountIf you are an language student and at the same time do not come from an EU member state, you must prove for the visa that you can pay for your stay in Germany and also your other costs incurred in Germany. For stays in Germany, proof of financing of at least approx. 934 € per month is currently required.

  1. Enter your personal information online and upload your passport.
  2. Receive your blocked account number and checking account number (IBAN) from VietinBank within one business day.
  3. Transfer the blocked amount and the corresponding fees.
  4. After receipt of the money: Receive your blocking certificate for your visa application directly from VietinBank.
  5. Your journey to Germany can begin!
  6. Activate your blocked account and your checking account fast and easy online after your arrival to Germany!
